Evaluation of International Research and Training Institute for the Advancement of Women (INSTRAW)

The evaluation team has examined INSTRAW's major programmes and has interviewed WID specialists and regional directors in most UN agencies. They concluded that it is an extremely important institute in the field of Women in Development with a lot of potential that may be more fully realized in the future. The opions and recommendations, therefore, offered in this evaluation report are made in the spirit of suggesting some improvements in organization and programmes.
