Study of the impact of Norwegian NGOs on civil society : FORUT (Sri Lanka) and Save the Children Norway (Ethiopia) : some methodological issues : a report based on the initial phase of the study

This report has been written in order to begin to answer the question of the 'wider societal impact' that Norwegian NGOs have. It is based on the initial phase of the study that began in December 2002 and is to be completed in October 2004. The report focuses on aspects of the methodology and through the discussion on methodology it begins to identify issues that are of relevance to impact analysis.
